Built in 1934 and for many decades the Albert Palais operated as a Dance Hall with its unique large sprung dance floor ,were it was a dominate place for social gatherings. It was packed week in week out as the Dance Craze swept the world .However during the last 25 years it has been transformed into a Wedding Reception Venues providing many couples memories of their special wedding day!
The Albert Palais was given a new life when acquired by the Onoufriadis Family Since 1993. "As a family operated business and being hands on we are able to offer our personal touch and support in the planning ,coordinating and operation of your wedding reception.Our success here at the Albert Palais has been due to a persistent focus on the quality of food and consistent service to all our guests!" says Michael Onoufriadis ,general ,manager of the Venue . Located in the heart of Leichhardt and only ten minutes from the city .The Albert Palais has maintained its Art Decor Design generating a mood of grandeur!
The Venue offers two rooms for your choice-The grand Ballroom(up to 160 guests)for more intimate weddings .Disabled lift access is also provided from Street Level to Ballroom seating !
