TERMS and CONDITIONS

OFFICE HOURS & INSPECTION TIMES

Tuesday to Thursday        10:00am to 4:00pm (office Hours)

Friday                                  10:00am to 2:00pm

Tuesday                              Final Payment according to final numbers

Saturdays                            Inspections 11 noon to 3pm

BOOKINGS

A tentative booking will be held for 7 days and a DEPOSIT is required to CONFIRM your booking.

Minimum DEPOSIT of $5,000 for the Albert Palais Grand Ballroom. No progress payments. Final payment is required four days before the function.

 

CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation the deposit paid is NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

ACCOUNTS

Four days prior to the function the FINAL PAYMENT is required as per the total number of guests.

Final number of ADULT GUESTS (not children) WILL DETERMINE THE PRICE PER PERSON, as indicated in our packages.

Videographer, Photographer and other industry people must be included in your guest list.

 

DEPOSIT DETAILS:

At the time of final payment (FOUR DAYS before the function) the Deposit Paid initially will be

deducted from your Final Tax invoice.

At final payment, the Albert Palais Events Centre accepts only cash, bank cheques or internet transfers.

 

GUARANTEED NUMBERS

To ensure our maximum efficiency our stated minimum numbers must be met or exceeded.

Numbers may be increased slightly but not decreased.

We will prepare the number of meals to your instructions, if however we are obliged to produce additional meals, the cost of those meals will be PAID as extra guests at the applicable rate per person on the night.

When Final Payment is Made all ORDERS are organised by the Venue and No REFUNDS are made if there are Cancellations

 

FUNCTION DETAILS

All function details and menu selections can be confirmed at least two months prior to the function.

All DJ’s and Bands must liaison with the Venue for the use of amplifiers and speakers supplied by the Albert Palais Function Centre located on the premises.

NO CHURCH CANDLES ALLOWED TO BE LIT IN THE VENUE

NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED IN VENUE Without Consent

 

BEVERAGE POLICY

The Albert Palais Function Centre supports the responsible service of alcohol policy.

Alcohol will be refused to those under the age of 18, those who supply alcohol to underage persons, or those who are in the opinion of the licensee, intoxicated.

 

DAMAGES

We will take necessary care but accept no responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left in the function centre during or after functions/exhibitions.

Use of the walls for display material is not permitted.

Organisers are financially responsible for any damage
